APE
Phew! Thanks to everyone at APE 2012! I had an awesome time and it was absolutely a learning experience! I did much better than I thought I would, which is always a nice surprise, made a few awesome connections, and sold out of my comic!! What the heck! I guess I better start taking it really seriously :)
It was a blast and I can't wait to do it again!

Hi there! I was at APE this past weekend and saw you there. I bought a really stunning print from you. I just wanted to say you have beautiful work. I regret not picking up your book, but if you reprint I'll be the first to give you my money :)
ReplyDeleteI was also thinking of selling there next year as a first timer. I'm just curious how many print runs you did? Congrats on selling them all. Even if your numbers are a trade secret and you can't share, it's fine, I'll still buy your book next time haha. Good luck and great show!

ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to make it a graphic novel in the near future, but I might reprint it before then, who knows! As far as printing them went, I wasn't sure if they'd sell at all, so I opted for doing 20 comics the first round. My friend and I did them through comixpress.com if that helps!
