Good Grief

It has been eons since I posted here. I wish I could say I've been too busy, but really I've been hanging out with my friend Leigh-bo-bee, getting a job interview (I don't know what this interview is going to be since I've been working there for the past two summers), watching house-flipping shows and reorganizing my room and studio.

Right now I'm sitting on my bed looking at my watercolor pad thinking I should really sketch out the new paintings I have planned, but I'm having a hard time motivating myself to do so, hahaha. Maybe the fact that I got up at 6:00 this morning has something to do with it, though I was awoken to bacon and eggs made by my lovely mother. Mmm, bacon.

I have been working on a commission, though, so I guess I'm not a total slacker. I've also been walking every day, though I didn't go today because it is pouring. Alas, I was getting so used to the sun, despite the cold. (My favorite weather is actually when it is sunny and cold out.)
